Armada initiated contact with the leading medical reporter in the South Bend TV market to promote our client, Legacy Vein Clinic, and its varicose vein treatment services. “Maureen’s Medical Moment” is a highly watched segment airing on the 11 p.m. newscast on the NBC affiliate.

The story “New laser procedure removes varicose veins with minimal pain” offered great perspective on Legacy Vein Clinic and its EVLT treatments. It aired November 4, during the 11 p.m. newscast and again on November 5 on the station’s lifestyle morning show. The video and story were also posted online. An estimated 37,000 viewers watched the story about Legacy’s laser vein treatment.

Legacy reported the scheduling of at least five EVLT consults as a result of this broadcast news story and decided to expand its lead tracking system to identify volume increase as a result of publicity measures.
